Paine College Partners with ByWater Solutions for Koha Implementation
ByWater Solutions, an open source community supporter and official Koha support company, announced today that Paine College, of Augusta, GA. has partnered with them for the installation and support of the Koha integrated library system.
ByWater Solutions will provide the Collins-Callaway Library of Paine College with a full Koha Installation, data migration, customization of their staff and public interface, 24/7 comprehensive support, and hosting services.
Lyn Dennison, Director of Library and Learning Resources Center commented on their decision to implement Koha with ByWater Solutions:
“The open source approach for our library information system is appealing for both its cost and its maintenance. I have been watching the growth in popularity and support of open source library systems and feel comfortable that it is now at a sustainable level. For a small college, having a hosted system is ideal. We are able to afford a fully operational system with access to technological expertise when and if we need it.”
