Koha Development Initiative Receives International Support

ByWater Solutions, an open source community supporter and the U.S.’ forefront provider of Koha support, wants to thank Bohdan ≈†milauer, a librarian in Prague, for his contribution to the Professional Cataloging interface development for Koha.

ByWater Solutions released their new Koha development crowdfunding website (http://devs.bywatersolutions.com) in January and since then have received many contributions of their partner libraries, but Bohdan Šmilauer is the first donor that does not use ByWater Solutions for support to help fund a Koha development via this new website.

Nicole C. Engard, Vice President of Education, spoke of the contribution:

“It is this type of contribution that I hoped we’d see with the release of this new website. The real power of open source is that people from all over the world can contribute to make the product better and that is what happened when Bohdan ≈†milauer found our site and helped fund a new feature for Koha.”
