Monday Minutes Displaying Itemtypes in Circulation

In this week's Monday Minutes, Kelly and Jessie will show you an enhancement in 19.11 that allows you to display both record level (942$c) and item level (952$y) itemtype in various circulation screens.

The 19.11 release in Koha introduces Bug 20194 - Display both biblioitems.itemtype and items.itype in circulation screens. Now the biblioitemtype and item-itemtype will display in moremember.pl, circulation.pl, returns.pl.

Column Configuration

If you want to set these columns to be hidden by default you can turn this off in Colum Configuration in Administration.

1. Click on Administration › Columns settings
2. Click on Circulation
3. Under (id=issues-table) select the column for record_type. This will hide the column on moremember.pl, circulation.pl (Patrons Account).
4. Under (id=checkedintable) select the column for record_type. This will hide the column on returns.pl.
5. Click Save.
